Şahap Aktaş, President of the board of directors of Aktaş Holding stated that there are nearly 700 thousand firms that may be purchased by the Turkish entrepreneurs thanks to the economic recession in the European Union. 

Şahap Aktaş as the President of the Board of Directors Aktaş Holding having production facilities in all over the world, producing products sold in more than 80 countries, with the largest product range in the independent spare parts product group, bringing the global reliability with the local sincerity, as one of the three top three firms in the world, in the air suspension bellows sector came together with the exporters in the "Foreign Trade Information Seminar" realzied in Uludag Exporters Unions.   

Şahap Aktaş sharing his entrepreneurship story and previous export experiences with the attendants in the event at which the new structure of the Ministry of Economy and the programs activated for the exporters were described, responded the questions of the guests.

Şahap Aktaş president of the Board of Directors of Aktas Holding mentioning that he has been involved in the business sphere from the age of 12 stated that "I started business life little earlier upon the unfortunate accident experienced by my father. Thanks to righteous approach of my father and his allowance to me for making decisions related to my business, I noticed that my decision making abilities were improved. In this sense, I learned to back my decisions to the success. With this self confidence, I advanced quickly in the business world. At each time, I struggled to make better each time."

"Bureaucracy is at the side of the Exporter now"

Sahap Aktas stating that they make Aktas Holding a company at world class noted that: "As a result of the lessons taken from the courses and our works conducted by us with the aim of opening to the world, we made Aktas Holding a group of companies having production and logistics centers such as Brazil, Bulgaria, China and Germany in addition to Turkey. Our most important principle was to be closer to our customer at the previous periods. In this sense, we send products to more than 80 countries. We make researches in Russia for while. We made a significant road in such studies. We work more and struggle more every day. Turkey obtained significant successes in economy and bureaucracy today compare to the conditions of previous times. Currently, bureaucracy is not a barrier for the exporters. On the contrary, it became an element giving significant support. We see successful developments in economic sense in the last 4 years. This increases the share of the exporters, us, in the world markets."

"There are many companies to be purchased in Europe"

Aktas mentioning that economic recession is expected in the world in 2012: "as everyone sees the crisis, we should see the opportunities. The exporter should be brave, determined and patient. We may grow better with this angle. As an example, it is expected that nearly 700 thousand of SMEs shall be transferred due to the upcoming crisis in Europe. It means that there are 700 thousand companies available for sale. If Turkish entrepreneurs want to grow in Europe they should see these opportunities and act accordingly. At the same time, alternative markets should not be disregarded. Particularly, it is useful not to forget Asia and South America.
